GIGANTIC EYE PORTRAIT

Did some quick digital painting while listening to Lana Del Rey's Old Money since I couldn't really sleep. It's 3am here, and I'm still wide awake. Tried to sleep, but I just can't. Guess I drank too much tea before bed. It's horrible when most drinks contain caffeine are my fave, especially coffee omg~

I have a huge thing for beautiful gigantic eyes and androgynous looking characters, much anime and BJD inspired. Always wanted to collect BJDs, but they're beyond my budget range, plus I don't support imitations. Maybe I'll get one in the future.

I'm really into facial features (especially the eyes) when it comes to painting portraits. Piercings is another thing I'm a huge fan of, not just on my characters, but on myself as well. If you're against body mods, then it's best just keep your opinions to yourself. Everyone's different in their own way, if you can't accept, just ignore. 

I have 3 piercings on my left ear (helix, high lobe/auricle & lobe), 1 on my right ear (lobe), and 1 on my belly button. The one on my nose isn't real, but I'm planning to get it pierced soon. I'm planning to get industrial on my right ear as well, but I'm kinda tired of dealing with the pain. Yes, piercings on cartilage hurt a lot, but it depends on individual. The outcome's definitely worth it if you take care if it properly. I'm still considering lebret or snake bites btw. Tattoos are definitely a big yes for me, but not for the time being, cuz I have better things to focus on. I started stretching my ear lobes not long ago. Left ear's 12g; right ear's kinda slow, still 14g, it's best not to rush them if you wanna avoid blowouts. I'm planning to get them to 1/2".

Anyway, some close ups of my painting. My brush stroke aren't well blended especially areas out of the face, couldn't expect much since this is a painting done under an hour. 

Hair. I still need improvements,

Eyes. Not the best I'd done, but I really like the color so yeah.
