Went for a jog and grocery shopping with my bae this evening. We were supposed to jog in the evening, but it started raining, so we had to stay in the car until the rain stopped. The sky was really pretty, so I took a video and made a gif out of it.
I don't know anything about fancy dates, nor I long for them. As long as I am with my bae, no matter where we are, everything seems perfectly calm to me. We're college students so it's still not the time to travel abroad, but we will certainly travel in the future. I guess it's kinda odd to some people that I don't fancy luxurious dates and all. Even if I am given the opportunity to do so, it would be cool once in a while just to gain some life experiences, but it's definitely not my thing. Travelling, picnics, strolling, gaming sounds better to me tbh. It's a personal preference kinda thing, there's no rights and wrongs. It's always nice to experience new things together, but sometimes happiness comes from the tiny little things we often overlooked in life. Some think we are naive, some think true love doesn't exist. Nothing's perfect, true. Life has ups and downs, and sometimes we hit rock bottom and feel like it's the end of the world, but if we look a little closer at those tiny little moments in life, we might find beautiful things in it.
If you're seeking for a perfect love without any misunderstandings and conflicts, then you're better off with an alien. It's impossible to not have any down moments at all, even with the one you treasure most. In fact, we confuse ourselves too, sometimes. It's up to us to deal with our problems together, not to point a finger at each other. Life isn't perfect, and nobody is. We just have to learn from our mistakes and appreciate what's best for us. Instead of searching for things that don't belong to us, try treasuring what we have around us. Life is pretty easy, we all made it hard for ourselves.
