IBE 2016 KLCC

Followed dad to IBE at KLCC today. He was invited as one of the VIP guests representing my country to launch the opening ceremony. An awkward potato pic of my brother and I with the models with my dad's hair design. I had platform boots on and they're still so much taller than me... The left one's durian inspired (the back of her head looks really cool though, sadly I didn't manage to take a pic of it), while the right one's hornbill, obviously.

Here's the highlights of the hair show. Lots of hair artists from Asian countries, including Taiwan and Korea. The show was kinda lengthy so I cropped most of it out.

Today's haul from IBE. 

I wanted to get a set of oval makeup brushes (something like Artis makeup brushes), but it was around hundred bucks and my budget was limited, so I got a set of regular brushes instead. Bought these just in case my old ones get lost. They're just five bucks though. Bought a super kawaii glittery pink nail lacquer (RM 3), a hand mirror (RM 5), and four boxes of falsies as well. I'm splitting them up with my mom, so they're not all mine. The ones in white boxes are only RM 10 for three boxes, I'm kinda shocked tbh. The best part about beauty expo is you can actually find things that are super duper cheap and affordable. 

I really like how these falsies look like. I'd seen "Instagram baddies" with falsies that are similar to these, so I decided to try them out. This one comes with three pairs per box, and it's just RM 10 per box. 

This nail lacquer looks so much prettier in real life. It's super vibrant and glittery. Reminds me of the 90's glittery lippies I got free from subscribing to Barbie magazines. I like heavy metal and cute stuffs. Don't judge, I'm a weirdo. It's kinda funny when I'm into goth and all, but I can never resist anything that's pink in color.

And here's my new hand mirror! It looks really Anna Sui-ish. Super kawaii, super gothic.

I would definitely get a pink one as well if they have it, but they don't. Speaking about gothic, I'm not sure if I wanna film a makeup "tutorial" tomorrow. It had been years since I put on my lolita dress. I really wish I have more lolita dresses and all, but they're all super pricey *sobs* It sucks when college life eats up most of your pocket money, and your assignments are too heavy for you to get a part time job.
